A note about me:

Thanks for wanting to read about me! I enjoy dyeing wool and spinning wool and knitting with wool and felting wool just anything wool is fine by me! I share my enthusiasm for this soft, ancient craft with whoever will listen! I started my journey with wool in 2006. I am a self taught dyer, gathering my techniques and inspirations from every possible nook and cranny I can find and throwing in a bit of ma and pa type common sense stuff of my own along the way. I've been able to enjoy marketing my handspun yarn and dyed fibers all over the world!

My regular and superwash merino and BFL wool are exclusively from Ashland Bay.  I can depend on consistent, top quality, fine wool with every order.  In my experience it is some of the worlds finest wool, that has been expertly, commercially prepared for spinning and dyeing.

A note about my work:

I appreciate every one of you that has purchased from me or are considering making a purchase from me, or just following along for fun! Thank you for your patronage and attention, I appreciate you!  Please keep in mind that each yarn is individually hand made and prepared for each order. I appreciate all of your orders and I appreciate your trust in my work.  Turn around times on orders vary from one to five business days.  Expedited orders can be arranged for an additional 15% of your entire order. This service is billed separately and can be easily arranged by contacting me: ilashdesigns@yahoo.com.

I work hard to duplicate my colorways relatively closely, but they often do not match exactly. For bigger projects, please initially order enough yarn so all of your yarn will be made from the same dye lot.
